Why are you raising funds?
We are raising funds because at FreeTechEducation.org we have expenses to bear such as:-
- Marketing efforts which primarily include getting in touch with Schools and convincing them to allow us to educate their students for FREE on software programming. This convincing becomes very challenging when tech staff @ schools considers teaching Scratch and Logo (Turtle) is enough for kids to learn 'how to program a software?'.
- Travel, and Boarding and Lodging expenses at Schools' locations for 2 or more days
- Course development efforts which include:-
- Educator(s) Remuneration aka salary
- Course curriculum updates
- Course material printing
- Online portal where kids can later watch the course, read materials, and submit exercises and projects
- Books writing and publishing
- Others
- Software subscriptions
- Hardware such as laptops having latest and fast specs so that we can run our development environments to develop demo projects for advanced courses such as VueJS Advanced, Ethereum Fullstack, etc.
